Its been 100 days of kindergarten for the Doodlebug. She's been in school for the same amount of time it takes some to form a habit, break it, and then reform it all again. Twice.
We play a game which she loves and I on alternate days, hopes she doesn't remember. She spells words - sometimes real words, sometimes I think may be Acadian, or possibly Romulan, and asks me what they spell (and here I just finished that pesky Klingon Rosetta Stone. wejpuH).
Today her list was just like Doodle...extravagant, contradicting, and so very her I wanted to keep it close to my heart forever. Momma, how do you spell CROWN? C-R-O-W-N honey. Ok, just 2 more Momma. Splendid and opossum. And, for bonus Momma, SUPERIFIC. Isn't that a great word Momma? It means ever more special and fancy than just plan super. And much like automatic defib paddles to my heart, she continues to keep me going when everything else seems to fail.
