Sometimes a once a year picture with Santa can capture the spirit of the season. But for our Christmas season spent at Nana's house...one picture just won't do. Our time at home was filled with such richness and strength of family I just want to go dip diamonds into gooey smores and plate them.
There's lots to tell and lots of photo evidence to show for it. Which is to say..the stories they are a'comin. Among them, Aunt Amy taking Doodle to ride a real live white horse, Marine and Opposumgate, and Nanas on a camel. I know..seems like more than you can handle. What a fantastic vacation!!
I've never felt more centered, more full of love, more loved, and more important than I do right now. My cup, once still packed away with a snarky remark, has been put on the table and is running over.
Thank you to each and every of my family members for reminding Kev and I that we do indeed have a place to call home and that place is waiting for us as soon as we're done here. We can't wait either.
This year...let's make all 525,600 minutes count.
