Thoughts of home...

Took flowers to the Iwakuni seawall today. It's the first time I've done that since we've moved. I had a spot in Oki that I went to so I could talk to Daddy. After much looking, I found one here yesterday. I dropped the flowers in the Pacific and watched them until I could no longer make them out among the waves. A ship passed and I heard a horn in the distance. I'd like to think that was Daddy...telling me he loves me too.
Happy Birthday Daddy. I miss you so much...
